October 7, 2025 — After more than 20 years at the keyboard, I’ve decided it’s time to close The Suburban Times.
I’ve been asked hundreds of times over the years if I will, “send a reporter or photographer” to such and such event. Those asking are always surprised when I tell them there are no reporters or photographers, it’s just me.
Closing will allow me to return my work-life’s focus solely on the operations of my company, General Aviation News.

It didn't take long for a few people to reach out about launching a new website in the spirit of The Suburban Times.
If it goes to plan, that new site should be online in early December 2025. It'll be called The Cascadian.
